The Group of Seven (G-7) is an informal grouping of the world's major advanced economies comprising:

• United States (USA)
• United Kingdom (UK)
• Canada
• France
• Germany
• Italy
• Japan

The European Union (EU) also participates in G-7 meetings. The forum was established in 1975 to discuss global economic, political, and security issues.
