About JBT

JBT is a 2-year diploma in elementary education. After completing JBT, candidates become eligible for teaching positions (PRT) in government and private schools. Admission is through entrance exams conducted by HPPSC or other state bodies.

Eligibility (HP)

Qualification: 10+2 (any stream) with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC).
Age Limit: 17-35 years (relaxation as per norms).
Residency: Bonafide Himachali candidates eligible for state quota.
